Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Job Description: We are We are a G7 construction company, De Cruz Resources Sdn Bhd specialising in water ,infra and building works seeking to expand and looking for a competent and experienced quantity surveyor to join our team at Decruz Resources Sdn Bhd. Preparation of tender bid: Prepare detailed cost estimates for tender bid. Calculate and determine the taking-off quantity. Review and prepare specifications, evaluate, and recommend improvements to tender submissions. Project administration: Manage the procurement process, including tendering, cost analysis, preparing subcontracts, and selecting suppliers. Monitor project expenditures and conduct cost control to ensure project costs and expenditures align with the budget. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of tender documents, tender evaluation reports, and variation orders. Monitor for changes to the scope of work or specifications during the construction process. Assess the impact of variations on project costs and timeline. Conduct regular evaluations of work completed on-site and verify the accuracy of work done. Preparation of reports: Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, progress reports, and final accounts to ensure timely and complete submission for payment. On-site tasks: Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to resolve issues and address any concerns related to cost, quality, or schedule. Conduct site visits and inspections for measurements, meetings, and site valuation when necessary. Requirements: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Minimum Diploma or higher in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field. Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu. Fluency in Mandarin is a bonus. Strong numerical/analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Working hours are Monday to Friday (
- 30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.) Able to start work on 1 st June 2024.
