Quality Manager

Job Purpose:

To oversees and ensures top-quality standards throughout all stages of HVDC project execution. Responsibilities include implementing robust quality management systems, conducting audits, managing non-conformities, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Collaborating with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, the manager drives continuous improvement to deliver high-quality, reliable projects.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality management plans and procedures for HVDC projects.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
3. Manage non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
4. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to identify quality requirements and ensure their implementation.
5. Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Provide guidance and support to project teams and suppliers on quality-related matters.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
8. Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills/Competencies

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in quality management within the HVDC industry, with a strong understanding of HVDC technology and systems.
3. Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
6. Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
