Qulity Engineer needed in Subang, Malaysia
Job Designation:
Responsible for developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. The candidate will be driving capability analysis on development and released product, initiating, participating and driving corrective action, analyzing measurable for standard work, and will develop implementation methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. The Engineer II, Quality provides a range of expertise to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed. Participates in assuring a high reliability and proper performance per product requirements.
Job Core Responsibilities:
Perform process audits during the hardware development processes.
Support internal QMS and Customer led audits for the facility.
Support electronics hardware development and sustaining programs.
Responsible for identifying, implementing, and assessing effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions as required.
Support proposal activities as required including contract reviews and flow down of requirements.
Support First Article and receiving inspection functions
Develop, maintain, and support quality assurance plans for various customer programs and is familiar with respective procurement requirements.
Prepare quality and performance metrics.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Mentor and Train co-workers in functional expertise: PFMEA, MSA, Control Plans, Auditing, Inspection and Test Methods
Collect, analyze, improve, and report Quality Data such as scrap, warranty, rework, yield, nonconformance trending
Job Specifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics and 5 years of Quality Engineering or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of AS-9100 and ISO-9001 quality management systems.
Knowledge/experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Quality practices for military / commercial and Industrial is desired.
Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with special processes, such as heat treating, chemical processing, and non-destructive testing is desired.
