Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and responsible Quality Officer (QO) Cum Halal to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production processes. This role involves a range of tasks related to quality control, lab work, and production support.The Quality Officer (QO) Cum Halal is responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance/ Compliance (QA/C) Cum Halal and Quality Control (QC) personnel in implementing quality management systems throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for quality control processes in production floor/ warehouse.
Ensuring product quality is well maintained.
Ensure achievement of production by monitoring and delivering high quality and safe products.
Report on any non-conformance cases if found.
Perform Lab test for quality check product.
Asist in Halal application product and liase with JAIS.
Perform other tasks as instructed by superior.
- Cleanliness (Regularly):
Regularly inspect and maintain cleanliness in the Warehouse area, Production area and Personal hygiene of production staff.
- Incoming Quality Checks (when required):
Receive and inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
- Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) Management (Regularly):
Check, fill, and maintain Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) forms.
- IPQC-In Progress Quality Checks (Regularly):
Conduct sample testing to assess product quality (Physical appearance test, Taste test and Leak test)
Assist QC and Production Supervisor regarding verification of Quality Issues for material, Semi-Finished Product, Finished Product and Production area.
Prepare WIP Sachet Carton Sticker and Finish Good Carton Sticker
- OQC-Outgoing Quality Checks (when required):
Check outgoing finished goods before being released to market.
- QC Report Preparation (when required):
Prepare detailed reports related to quality control findings.
Production issues involve quality (oversee and attends issues at production area)
- Lab (when required):
Perform stability test and quality control checks on finished goods to ensure compliance with standards.
Record and storage of sample retention.
- Documentation (Regularly)
Check, Filing and maintain documentation (related to GMP, HACCP and Halal)
Fill in related form based on GMP and HACCP standard.
- Halal (when required):
Assist QA/C for Halal application through MYeHALAL system and prepare documentation related for Halal application product.
Responsible for Halal compliance in the production floor and premise.
Qualifications:
Must possess at least a diploma or equivalent in chemistry/ science related fields (preferred).
Previous experience in quality control or production. (at least 1 year preferred)
Have a basic knowledge in GMP, HACCP and Halal
Have basic knowledge in laboratory skills.
Able to handle documentation regarding GMP, HACCP and Halal
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Fit and can move actively
