Conduct regular inspections and audits during the food production process to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Monitor and verify that raw materials, ingredients, and finished products meet quality requirements.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures according to industry standards and company policies.
Test and sample products for sensory, microbiological, chemical, and physical analysis.
Document and maintain detailed records of QC processes, production, and inspection reports.
Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve quality issues and non-conformances.
Ensure that all products comply with Malaysian food safety regulations (e.g., Halal certification, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Food Act 1983).
Provide recommendations for corrective actions in cases of quality deviations or non-conformities.
Assist in the investigation of customer complaints regarding product quality.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, safety, and production efficiency.
Ensure all QC equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Job Requirements
Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Language required: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in quality control.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and FSSC 22000.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring product safety and quality.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in using QC tools and software.
Experience working with Halal-certified products.
Familiarity with automated quality control systems.
