Job Summary:- The Quality Control Assistant Manager will oversee the laboratory.
The role will be responsible for managing and supervising laboratory staff, conducting laboratory testing, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.- Ensure that laboratory testing is conducted in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement quality control procedures and systems to ensure that laboratory testing is accurate and reliable.
- Analyze test results and communicate findings to other departments and management.
Ensure that laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated to ensure accuracy and reliability.- Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and place orders as necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that products meet quality standards.
Continuously improve laboratory operations and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirement Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or related field.- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
Good knowledge of basic MS office suite
Knowledge of food science, food chemistry and food microbiology- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and laboratory procedures
Strong knowledge of food manufacturing and quality control standards
