Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our software delivers the highest level of quality to our customers. You'll play a crucial role in catching bugs, refining user experiences, and ensuring that our product runs like clockwork. This is a fully remote role with lots of flexibility, offering the opportunity to grow your career within a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to create test plans, test cases, and scenarios to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases, report bugs, and work closely with developers to verify fixes and ensure the product is bug-free before release.
- Automated Testing: Assist in building, maintaining, and running automated tests to enhance overall testing efficiency.
- Bug Reporting & Tracking: Clearly document and track issues, ensuring that product defects are identified, prioritized, and resolved.
- User Experience Validation: Ensure that new features work as intended and provide a smooth user experience by replicating real-world usage.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing before major releases to ensure no previously solved issues resurface.
- Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, developers, and designers to gather test requirements and provide feedback that contributes to product improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Previous experience in software testing, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks; knowledge of automation testing is a big plus.
- Attention to Detail: A natural problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, able to spot even the smallest bugs or inconsistencies.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with the ability to document and communicate issues clearly to developers and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and think critically to find solutions and resolve technical issues.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a remote environment, managing multiple tasks, and adapting to changing priorities.
