POSITION Quality Assurance Executive

LOCATION Malaysia

POSITION STATEMENT: Responsible for testing of both front end and back-end testing in Life Insurance application and should have hands on experience on Agile Testing in Digital technologies. The incumbent should be capable of performing various types or levels of Agile testing such as writing test cases as per user stories, In Sprint Testing, API, User Acceptance testing and help developer in RCA.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES for Quality Assurance Executive:

Should have 3 to 4 + years of experience in Life Insurance domain.

Strong understanding of insurance domain and experience working on application like Life Asia (AS400), Claims, Policy Servicing , digital applications for policy onboarding, portals, and underwriting workflow applications.

Performs exploratory testing, in-sprint testing, API testing, and end-to-end journey level testing and able to execute automation.

Ability to create test designs as per user stories and estimate the testing effort associated with user stories and testing tasks.

Provides walkthrough of Test Results to stakeholders, Reports defects & follows up with Developers / BA / IT for defect fixation with defect ageing tracking SLA

Experience of creating, executing, and maintaining test plans and test scripts

Provides walkthroughs of test results to stakeholders, reports defects, and follows up with developers/BA/IT for defect fixes, tracking defect aging as per SLAs.

Able to create test design as per User Stories and estimate testing effort associated with the user stories and all testing tasks, must have working knowledge for API Testing

Can individually manage client expectation and can take ownership for the assigned task

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES for Senior Quality Assurance Executive:

Should have 5+ years of experience in Testing for Life Insurance application.

Should have knowledge Agile Testing (Manual + Automation)

Possess strong Insurance domain knowledge on new business policy onboarding, portals, and workflow applications, Life Asia(AS400) application for New Business, Claims and Policy Servicing.

Plays a critical Agile Tester role in coordination between multiple squads located globally

This role will be a bridge between all the business users and IT App team and cater to their systems needs and requirements.

Able to create/review test design as per User Stories and estimate testing effort associated with the user stories and all testing tasks.

Can individually manage client expectation and can take ownership for the assigned task.

Ability to create and send daily status report

Should be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills.

Activity to set priorities, strengthen operations, establish agreement around intended outcomes/results and adjust the organization's growth in response to a changing environment.

QUALIFICATION:

BE/B.Tech (IT or Computers) or MCA or M.Tech. (IT or Computers)

Certification in Agile (preferred)

ISEB/ISTQB Certified
