Responsibilities:- Software testing of e-Commerce and gaming websites.
Prepare and set up test framework and environment.- Participate in software design reviews and walk-through.
Work with the end-user and business analysts to understand functional and design specifications of new website features and services.
- Work with the development team to develop unit tests, integration tests, system tests, usability tests, security tests, stress tests and regression tests.
Recommend test strategy to suit different e-Commerce applications.- Design and execution of test plans and test cases, prepare test data.
Maximize test case re-usability to optimize testing efficiency and coverage.
- Track and manage software defects using a bug-tracking system
Report and manage software testing using test case management system.- Quality assurance of the website's functionality, performance, security, language translations and localization.
Conduct thorough analysis and gain a deep understanding of defect root causes.
- Create clear and concise test cases and produce test reports adhering to QA standards.
Proficiently identify and resolve conflicts that may arise within or between teams.- Collaborate closely with junior team members to maintain consistent QA practices across all teams.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of working experience is preferred.- Knowledge of QA methodologies is essential.
Strong QA, and analytical skills
- Understanding Windows operating systems and Internet browser combinations (Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Edge) as well as Android and IOS operating systems is necessary.
Good understanding of the defect lifecycle.- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skill
Required language(s): Mandarin, English. Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Some experience with both manual testing and automated testing using Selenium, TestIM, Postman or JMeter is preferred.
Experience in conducting remote software testing and QA of e-Commerce applications is an added advantage.- Possession of certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent is an added advantage.
Development knowledge with C#, ASP.NET & MS SQL Server is an added advantage.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries will be good.
Experience in the gaming industry is an added advantage.- Candidate should be Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.
