Pre-Contracts Responsibilities
- Sources and compiles information for tender participation, including measurement, quotation invitation, costing reports, and tender submissions.
- Prepares bill of quantities (BoQ) involving quantity take-off, material sourcing, and estimating material and labor costs for tendering.
- Prepares tender responses in consultation with Commercial HOD and attends tender interviews.
Post-Contracts Responsibilities
- Reviews tender pricing with the Commercial HOD or Contract Manager
- Examines letter of appointments, contract drawings, and documents to identify deviations from the tender.
- Attends project meetings
- Negotiates with suppliers and appoints specialist subcontractors i.e. carpenters, fabricators or installers as per trade requirements.
- Ensures timely submission of variation order (VO) costs and communicates progress to the project manager, along with submitting monthly progress claims and closing final accounts.
- Follows up on payment certificates and client payments efficiently.
- Certifies subcontractors claims based on site progress and quantity.

Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Fresh graduates are encoraged to apply for Junior QS or Trainee QS
