Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and innovative QA Test Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.

They will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics to ensure our software runs smoothly and meets client needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Test Plans:

Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.

Perform Manual and Automated Testing: Execute manual tests and automate test cases using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.

Identify and Report Bugs: Identify, document, and track bugs thoroughly using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.

Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with developers to understand the product requirements and implementation details.

Conduct Regression Testing: Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure no new issues are introduced.

Analyze Test Results: Analyze test results, identify trends in defects, and provide insights to improve software quality.

Maintain Test Documentation: Document test cases, procedures, and results. Maintain detailed records of testing activities.

Ensure Compliance with Standards: Ensure that all test procedures follow industry standards and company policies.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to the testing process and tools to enhance overall product quality.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.

Experience in project management and QA methodology.

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.

Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.

Proficiency in SQL and scripting.

Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
