Qa Tester

Responsibilities:

• Understand the software requirements and develop detailed test plans and test cases that cover various scenarios and use cases
• Create and execute various types of test cases such as functional, regression, and customer scenario testing.
• Validate the software's functionality, identify potential defects, and ensure the application performs as expected under different conditions.
• Identify, document, and prioritize technical issues and bugs.
• Report any defects found during testing to the development team and collaborate with them to resolve the issues.
• Retest the software to confirm that the fixes have been implemented correctly.
• Work closely with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in review meetings with other stakeholders, such as developers, business analysts, and project managers, to provide feedback on the software and the testing process.
• To collaborate with the development team to understand the user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Estimate the effort required for testing and planning the testing activities for the sprint.
• Participate in Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives to provide feedback on the testing process.
• Work closely with the Development Team, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to ensure that quality is built into the product from the beginning.

Technical Skillset:

• Familiar with Confluence, Jira
• Any test management tools
• API & Web Application testing
• Attention to details and document defects accurately
• Manage testing schedule and prioritize tasks effectively
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software QA
