Our client is a MNC company located in KL, which manufacture of both flat and pitched roofing in Malaysia is looking for a Purchasing Executive.
Job Description:
- To source and purchase local strategic materials and overseas traded goods of the right quality at the right time and at the right price from the right source so as to enable to contribute to the overall profitability of the company.
To source and purchase local and overseas materials (eg. cement, printing, uniforms, H&S, fitting related, local factory purchases i.e. general hardware, spare parts and local essential materials to support production, sales office and overseas traded goods) of right quality, right time, at the right price and from the right source so as to enable contribution to the overall profitability of the company.- Oversees and consolidating BUs leasing and services.
Oversees marketing and communication related purchases.
- To lead and monitor stock inventory for local strategic raw materials i.e. sand and packaging materials to ensure zero stock out, production downtime and over stock situation.
To co-ordinate with suppliers for continuous and adequate supplies so as to avoid stoppage of production.- To ensure compliance of ISO 9001 : 2015 quality system and to discuss/propose for continuous improvements towards effectiveness of the system.
To participate in Materials Resources Planning (MRP) for strategic materials so as to enhance the purchasing cycle efficiency and effectiveness.
- To continue and source for new reliable vendor, alternative and new product as well as evaluate our existing/reliable supplier in terms of consistent of quality product, on time deliveries, after sales services, technical support and competitive pricing through vendor Development Programme.
To prepare monthly procurement savings reports as per company requirement for analyse.- To support purchasing documentations: - emailing, matching and filing.
Requirements:
- Experience in ERP system, preferably in SAP, proficiency in MS Excel and Google.
- Experience: at least 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing company.
