Job Description :-
To involve in supplier management that includes sourcing, selection, negotiation and obtain quotation for all material and equipment required by project sites
To negotiate best pricing, monitors and assures continuous improvement of supplier performance
To maintain proper records of purchases, quotations/sources, suppliers information and documentations
Liaise and work closely with suppliers and other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies
Interaction with Project Managers/Site Engineers/Site Supervisors on cost of equipment for their final cost and progress schedule management inclusive of documentation to be submitted to relevant parties
To observe, track and give feedback to project sites for frequent order material without over supplying
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior and the management
Requirements :-
Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or equivalent
At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field especially in Construction based company.
Able to multi-task, work independently and a team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word & accounting software
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
