Job Descriptions:- To purchase materials for project construction, furniture manufacturing, factory maintenance & general items requested by the department with the right quantity and right price and ensure goods are delivered on time.
To source new suppliers, update new vendor list, request quotation & update price comparison.- To prepare & follow up on the delivery schedule with suppliers. To check monthly usage & balance stock of packaging material & cushion line material.
To prepare monthly purchasing report, apply SST & key in summary penyata SST for raw material for cushion line & packaging material.
- To renew MFC membership and apply for IAP & MTIB import license yearly. To prepare documents & apply reimbursement claims for import lamination board & rubber wood.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Economy / Business Administration or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years working experience in purchasing related field is required for this position.
- Preferably executive specializing in furniture and construction material purchase.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.- Strong supplier connections (overseas and local contacts) will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of the market conditions and trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Preferably with Mandarin speaking candidates.
Responsible, able to work independently and under pressure.
