Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain manual records of planning data including inventory levels, pending orders, and delivery schedules to support materials planning.
Maintain systematic and comprehensive records of the department activities for management decision- Coordinate with supplier and purchase requester to ensure the items/specifications meet the requirement and monitor delivery to meet purchasing objectives
Perform sourcing, negotiating, and identifying appropriate/new suppliers and source alternatives for cost savings.
- Work closely with other departments in performing duties
Assist in executing goods return to the supplier and subsequent follow-up with the actions.- Managing the stock control process in the warehouse outlet.
Assist in monitoring the stock-in-hand list and alert the Purchasing Manager of stock issues, eg: non-moving, slow-moving, and overstock
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors from time to time when required
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, any field
Good communication and Interpersonal skills- Self-motivated, strong leadership, analytical and detail-oriented
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- On-the-job training will be provided
Willingness to learn, good attitude, ability to work as a team and independently- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, experienced in related fields will have an added advantage
