Research, and evaluate potential suppliers and develop new vendors by the company's SOP.
Source and procure materials or equipment according to project requirements (RFQ/BOM) and negotiate the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
Liaise and build a good rapport with suppliers and internal teams and other departments (relationship management).
Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
Conduct market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
Coordinating with the delivery team and following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
Attending product launches and networking with industry professionals.
Inspect stock and report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and receiving stock.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelors degree in business, logistics, or a related field may be required.
Previous experience in a similar position.
Able to speak and write English, Malay, and Mandarin. The additional language will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in the relevant management software programmers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Well-written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Great organizational and planning skills.
The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
