Job Description
Within Client Reporting Services, the mission of the Publishing and Creative Services (PCS) team is to provide high quality publishing, creative partnership, and production services to support the global marketing and client service goals. The PCS Publisher will report to the PCS Publisher Manager and provide publishing support for the production and maintenance of prospect and client presentations. He or she must also establish and maintain constant communication with PCS global colleagues in order to accommodate the team's follow the sun model.
Key Responsibilities
Constant monitoring of virtual production queue and hotline calls
Format and update a variety of business presentations for prospect and client meetings
Engage with business partners to create compelling graphics and new content for presentations
Maintain thorough knowledge of the applications and processes involved in the daily work
Adhere to client format standards and provide proofreading to ensure accuracy and quality control
Cross-train and assist other PCS teams globally as volume necessitates and when appropriate
Assist end users as necessary with tool training, troubleshooting
Assist with special projects as required
Technical Skills
Proficient in the following applications/environments:
Queue management systems (e.g., Virtual Ticket, PCS Online, Hotline calls)
Content management systems (e.g., PCS Book Tool, Seismic)
Adobe Acrobat Professional
Adobe Creative Suite applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Mac OSX and PC environments
Strong proficiency in English and Japanese
Qualifications/Attributes
Minimum 3 years of experience in the investment management industry, in the areas of publishing or design.
Must work well under pressure of extreme and constant deadlines and have the ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to evolving processes and technology.
Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with a group of individuals spread across many sites.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are also required.
A general knowledge of all print and on-screen work, as well as fundamentals of print and web design, is necessary.
