Responsibilities:- Review, monitor, and analyze legislative and regulatory issues and trends within the country.
Develop and execute advocacy campaigns aimed at shaping public policy and regulations.- Facilitate policy, regulatory, and crisis management.
Collaborate with government agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to influence policy decisions and regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee the management of national tender contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Establish and maintain strong networks and relationships with federal, state, and local councils, as well as government agencies, to advocate, negotiate, defend positions, and potentially open doors for commercial opportunities.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless implementation of projects and achievement of business objectives.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to tender contracts and government procurement processes.
- Exhibit strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and persuasively.- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and advocacy groups.
Represent the company externally in meetings and events related to regulatory and policy discussions, as well as government partnerships.
Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, International Relations, Public Policy, Political Science, Marketing Communication, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government contract management, tendering, public policy advocacy, or government affairs, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or automotive industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.- Strong networking, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proactive team player with an independently results-driven character.- Sound knowledge of government operations, public policies, parliamentary procedures, and strong political acumen.
Understanding of the external political environment and political developments affecting the organization.
- Ability to lead independent projects proactively.
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who constantly challenges the status quo.- Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments preferred.
