Job Summary
We are seeking a PTP (AP) - Executive to support our SSC team. The ideal candidate should basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices and procedures and making basic accounting entries.
What You Will Do
- Provide support to the PTP (Accounts Payable Team) in delivering a professional and consistent service to stakeholders in resolving inquiries related to the Accounts Payable function and enhance the team's effectiveness.
- Perform the end-to-end PTP process. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, for Trade, Non-Trade Payable and T&E etc. and maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Perform journal entries for Procure to Pay (Adjustment).
- Perform the monthly AP Aging report for all vendors Trade and Non-Trade.
- Perform the monthly Vendor Reconciliation (SOA) for all vendors Trade and Non-Trade.
- Ensure all task completed before AP module closure (Month End Closing).
- Ensure input VAT, GST and/or other taxes is accounted for accurately in accordance with the various countries regulations.
- Resolve errors and queries and escalate to the Process Lead and Manager where necessary.
- Provide backup support within the team and maintain a motivating work environment.
- An Ad hoc assignment assigned by the PTP Team Lead.
- Assist year-end audit(s) for PTP Unit. Perform the yearly end PTPs Journals, Accounts, Aging Statement etc. accurately and within the SLA time frame.
- Contribute/recommend to system and process improvements.
What You Will Need:
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable team, preferably in a shared service environment.
- Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices and procedures and making basic accounting entries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fresh grads are encouraged to apply.
