Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for the management and supervision of maintenance, gardening and domestic teams on the farm and project sites according to the required standards, obtaining maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, service and upholding all aspects of compliance and quality standards and complying with budget and criteria that is needed.

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
To manage, plan, organize and monitor the day-to-day estate operations to maximize the yield and achieve the budget given by the Management.
  • To supervise, monitor and control of estate operations, including land cleaning works, planting, maintenance, staff and worker's welfare.
To plan, monitor, control and to utilize allocated resources i.e. costs, manpower, infrastructures, vehicles, fuels, fertilizers, chemicals and capital expenditures effectively for the estate daily operations and development works in achieving profitability and efficiency.
  • Managing records to ensure farm's accurate and up-to-date report on work done
Involve in manpower planning, workers recruitment process and liaise with various government department/firms & agency.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, manage and control plantation activities in accordance to good industry practices.
Proactive in identifying and rectifying any issues that may arise.
  • Plan and implement efficient work schedules to achieve estate goals and targets, able to adapt plans due to unforeseen circumstances.
To assist in preparation monthly progress reports, forecast, yearly budget and ad-hoc reports including estate & Special project.
  • To carry out and to ensure good agricultural practices are implemented at all time.
To perform ad-hoc assignments from time to time.
  • To liaise with the superior for support services including sourcing for suppliers and workers, accounting services, funding and budgeting.
To comply with the policies and procedures, authorities, environment, health and understand the local customs & cultures.
  • Manage routine domestic duties and general cleanliness in the estate.
Manage safety and security of estate key holder duties and liaising with security team.
  • Ensuring essential repairs, replacements are carried out as part of the maintenance program.
Ensure compliance to applicable codes, procedures and legislation including health and safety.
  • Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the estate and/or its visitors, clients/customers to superior.
Subject to agreed criteria, recruitment, training, set action and targets, appraise and manage performance, development, coaching and general support of all team members to ensure targets are met.
  • Maintaining accurate records and accounts as required and reporting as agreed.
From time to time, you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.

  • 2. RESPONSIBILITY TO PROJECT
Responsible for ensuring that the project runs according to the established schedule.
  • To monitor, communicate with the contractor in all matters related to the project.
Responsible for planning, giving views and acting in each project involved.
  • Giving reports to superiors and highlighting existing problems and being responsible for solving them.
Involved in budget and cost control for each project.
  • Setting rent, study & understand the property market to set the right rent.
To keep up to date with best practice on arrears prevention, putting forward ideas and suggestions for service improvements.
  • Monitor renewals of properties distribute and follow-up renewal notices to tenants.
Finding and screening tenants liaise with agents to advertise any vacant property and screening the potential tenants that is the best fit for the company.
  • Handling leases ensure that the agreement has all the necessary provisions to protect the company.
Handling complaints/emergencies from existing tenants.
  • Dealing with evictions.
Responsible for producing reports and presenting them to management.

  • Requirements :
Diploma in Project management/ Agriculture/ Business Management/ Business Administrative.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in administration field/ project.
Important required skill(s) ability to follow instructions, professional attitude, consistency in work.
  • Willing to learn, good integrity, reliable and work independently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Good in meeting minutes writing.
People-oriented, sensitive to and respect others.
  • A team player.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,300.00 per month
