Roles and Responsibilities of Project Officer Duties:
- Coordinate and execute project activities, including supporting the Research, Academy, Strategic Alliance, Branding & Marketing and Event committee.
Monitor progress of the project by drafting work-plans and monitoring activities.- Support in the preparation of the required periodic progress reports on the status of activities.
Assist in the programming and control of resources of the project, prepare budget estimates and expenditure forecasts by analysing and monitoring expenditure as compared to planned activities and making recommendations for remedial action. Identify problems, propose solutions and actions.
- Supervise the work of the projects external collaborators and partners.
Organize meetings of the for the committee chair and other relevant workshops and events with key project partners.- Basic Marketing and familiar with Social Media platforms
Basic graphic design skills, including familiarity with design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), would be advantageous.
- Basic Marketing and Familiar with Social Media platforms.
Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, training sessions and meetings as required by association.- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the President and EXCO.
Education:
- University degree (Bachelors or equivalent) preferably in sustainability, environment science or business related.
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a university degree
Experience:- At least two years of professional experience in the area of project management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Work experience with the government, social partners, civil society and other stakeholders will be great advantage.
- A team player, agile and passionate about Sustainability.
Proficient in the languages of Malaysia and excellent command and knowledge of English. Knowledge of other relevant languages and dialect is an advantage.
Salary Range: RM3,000 RM4,000- Work Location: Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur
