The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee completion of project, manage construction, procurement and commissioning activities and coordinate with engineering design team and design institutes.
- Coordinate with post operations activities, commissioning and planning with operations director. Develop and implement mitigation plans for off-schedule/budget/deliverables, unanticipated occurrences and risks.
- Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan, track project's scope, schedule and costs for changes. Prepare change requests for any deviation and lead the approval process.
- Assess risks and establish contingency plans, manage the projects according to company's operating model safely in compliance with agreed project scope, schedule, cost and quality.
- Ensure that project execution shall fulfill requirements of law and authorities and that all required permits have been granted. Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements.
- Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Masters or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 years industrial related project management experience, with experience in all the different project phases but specifically in the definition and execution phases.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
- Strong communication skills, and possesses a general understanding of contract administration, business principles and business law.
- Project scheduling skills by utilizing Project Management Software.
- Experience working with a team, and ability to speak mandarin is advantageous.
