Job Description

Job Responsibility

To be responsible for the site supervision in relation to all civil and infrastructural works on projects.
To ensure that all work is in sync with project goals and objectives and is within the agreed budget.
To provide direction to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork to ensure that quality standards are being met.
To monitor and manage the project processes and ensure that any elements which fail in the workflow are remedied.
Prepares plans and specifications for new equipment or modification of existing equipment to effect increased operational capacity or efficiency.
To liaise with architects, engineers, and other specialists working on a project.
To track progress against milestones, deadlines and budget. To Report on these items to key stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of proven experience in earthwork/roadwork or infrastructure projects
Strong planning and organising skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously.
Well-verse on contractual matters.
Must be able to read and interpret plans/drawings.
