IT Software/Application Project Manager with strong functional and technical experience.
Accountable for the successful delivery of assigned projects within time, quality, and cost constraints, following project management methodology.
- Manage and lead projects to ensure all milestones are met within time, quality standards, resource limits, and budget constraints.
Manage expectations and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders, the steering committee, project team, and third parties.- Plan, review, and negotiate project schedules.
Coordinate and obtain inter-departmental support for planned tasks.
- Act as a liaison between the entire project team (internal team and customers) to ensure alignment.
Ensure the contract is thoroughly reviewed and negotiated, safeguarding Accordia's interests at all times.- Escalate potential risks and blocking issues with proposed mitigation plans and/or recommendations.
Lead and proactively manage all deviations, risks, and inter-dependencies that impact the project.
- Serve as the gatekeeper for all entry and exit criteria for the next project phase.
Ensure all documentation is complete and comprehensive.- Ensure a smooth post-implementation handover to Operations.
At least a tertiary level qualification in Engineering or Computer Science.- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
PMP, Prince2, or any equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Experience managing IT, software application, or telecommunication projects is advantageous.
Good understanding of software project management methodology.- A proactive mindset with a commitment to delivering on mandates.
Demonstrated learning agility in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations.
