To assist Project Director to competently plan, manage, coordinate and monitor closely project executions, programmed works, work progress, control, tracking and accomplish tasks within the given time frame on the assigned projects and to the quality standards and specifications required including administrative and contractual matters.
Monitoring the daily progress of projects.
Providing detailed updates to the project manager or project director.
Ensuring team members have the supplies and resources they need to complete their assigned tasks on time.
Coordination: Facilitate communication between project team members, ensuring that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and progress reports.
Customer Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for customers or clients involved in the project and documenting their requirements, expectations, and feedback.
Quality Assurance:
Test project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Ensure that documented processes are aligned with organizational objectives and meet quality standards.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
Document current processes, map out workflows, and gather requirements for process optimization.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings and preparing presentation materials.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the project manager/director or senior management.
Job Requirements
Candidate Must possess at least Diploma/ Advance/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelors Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in any engineering background or equivalent.
Required language (s): English & Bahasa Malaysia
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to work closely with team members and managers, and effectively manage problems as they occur.
Leadership: As the primary point of contact for team members, you must be able to provide guidance, feedback, and encouragement for achieving goals.
Organization and time management: Managing the daily activities and needs of an entire team requires an excellent ability to multitask and effectively manage your time.
Problem-solving: Although project managers/director may step in to handle significant problems, you should be prepared to work through and resolve minor issues without assistance.
Positive attitude: Generally, a positive outlook makes IT easier to handle the stress of unexpected challenges and also helps the entire team stay positive and motivated.
Good team player, Self-motivated, reliable, minimum supervision, good communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of the site safety plan and the safety activities operation flow.
