Job Scope -
- Geographical Scope: Global
- The position contributes to PPG lounge operations globally by providing modern digital architecture designs, analyses, develops, and documents the lounge management solutions.
- This position is expected to drive technology capabilities adoption & standardization to support the strategic business roadmaps for global lounges expansion and operations.
- This position is to support the PPG Business Development and Sales team in clients requirements and IT integration discussion with our Lounge Management Solutions.
- Enable: Efficient & Effective Technology Adoption; Process Automation, ITIL Framework, Business Requirements Analysis, Technical Design and Development
- Govern: Data and Security Compliance, Policy & Procedure, Quality Assurance, Technology Standardization
- Innovate: Keep up to date with technology evolution and industry developments, and perform proof-of-concept pilots to drive continuous digital innovation
What you'll be doing -
- To lead a team of engineers or vendors for project delivery according to project requirements
- To manage the project scope, schedule, risks and cost of the assigned project(s)
- To support business development as and when required
- To support in business activities and/or ad-hoc projects when required
- To provide software support and maintenance to operational/production system
- To lead the team in software modification/enhancement to the system
- To lead the team in preventive maintenance and corrective actions promptly and effectively
- To prepare project documentation, progress reports, technical/engineering studies
- To engage and manage vendor's support to diagnose and rectify technical issues
- To manage external vendors and contractors for repairs and purchases
- To lead the team in new setup or upgrade of IT infrastructure.
What you'll need -
- Candidates with PMP preferred.
- ITIL, CCNA or Certification in Cyber Security or Information Technology Security field has an advantage
- Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (spoken and written) with excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment
- Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking
- Able to work independently as well as in a team and good interpersonal skills, presentation skills
- Good understanding in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (SCRUM will be added advantage)
- Good knowledge and experience in computer/server hardware and network diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Experience in Programming Skills such as Java will be an added advantage
- 3 to 5 years experience in project management, or customer success, or software system in fast paced B2B companies in the tech, digital sectors or growth startup sectors.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent service attitude with the ability to be empathetic, responsive, resourceful and attention to detail
- Active listener that knows how to adjust your narrative to different audiences and situations
- Ability to meet deadlines and overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation and signing off.
