Project Assistant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Project Assistant to support our engineering team on-site. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Assist project managers in the coordination and execution of engineering projects.

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.

- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety standards.

- Communicate with team members, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate project activities.

- Support the procurement process by assisting in sourcing materials and equipment.

- Assist in the preparation of project presentations and updates for stakeholders.

- Manage project schedules and track key milestones.

- Participate in project meetings and provide input on project status and challenges.

- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the engineering team.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Previous experience in a project support role within the engineering sector is preferred.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
