Ensure collaborative cross-functional teamwork: Encourage effective cooperation and communication among various departments or teams within the organization to achieve common goals.
Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control all phases of the customer programs: Oversee and manage every stage of customer programs, starting from the request for quotation (RFQ) phase through development, new product introduction (NPI), and ramping up to stable production. This involves planning, executing tasks, monitoring progress, and controlling the processes to ensure successful outcomes.
Communicate and work closely with sales/customer and internal departments: Maintain open lines of communication and collaboration with both external stakeholders (sales/customers) and internal departments. This includes conducting feasibility studies, understanding customer requirements, and collaborating on design for manufacturability (DFM) and costing considerations.
FA package review: Reviewing the First Article (FA) package thoroughly to ensure that all required documents are complete and that parts meet the necessary quality standards for delivery.
Ensure effective project management interface for customers and suppliers management: Act as a bridge between the project management teams of customers and suppliers, facilitating communication and coordination to manage critical outsourcing processes and maintain product quality standards.
Customer-centric and always replies to or updates customer/sales teams inquiries on time: Prioritize customer satisfaction by promptly responding to inquiries and keeping the sales team informed about the status of customer-related matters.
Perform technical analysis to identify product and process issues: Analyze technical data and feedback from engineering, production, and quality teams to identify any issues with products or processes during the NPI stage. Provide solutions to address these issues before moving into the mass production (MP) stage.
Preparing/establishing Engineering documents: Create and maintain various engineering documents such as internal drawings, Project Management Plans (PMP), Intellectual Property (IP) documentation, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Work Instructions (WI), and packaging standards.
Weekly basis program status update and report: Regularly update the status of programs on a weekly basis and report progress to the heads of departments, operations, and business units to keep stakeholders informed and aligned with project objectives.
