Job Responsibilities: -
- Schedule, control and monitor all resources and materials on a weekly basis.
Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of carpentry expenditures, and procedures for equipment maintenance.- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications to ensure accurate final product come out.
Direct and supervise day-to-day operations and ensuring a consistently high standard of work is produced in accordance with specification and quality standards through regular quality inspections.
- Monitor and guide the carpenter operate a variety of woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including saws, sanders, drills, handgun and routers Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials.
Involve in order material, arrange general workers schedule and material deliveries/logistic arrangement, supervise progress at the project site to ensure that project is completed within stipulated time.- Attend meetings when required.
Coordinate with all relevant department and work as a team.
- Attend to site issues or problem & ensure that the project is completely handed over without any issues.
Handle & manage defect works.- Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.
Provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
Crate and Pallet making industry experience
- Minimum 1-2 year experience in related wood industry.
* Good communication skills.
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
