Production Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
Allocate resources and manage production budgets.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and mentor production staff, providing training and development opportunities.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues.
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
Coordinate with the quality assurance team to resolve any quality-related issues.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.- Use data and metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
Safety and Compliance:- Ensure all production activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Oversee inventory levels and manage the procurement of materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of production management principles and practices.- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in using production management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
