We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the production process in our clients chemical manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe production, meeting quality standards, and leading a team of production staff.
Salary is RM12K a month + Performance bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise production staff to achieve production targets and quality standards
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
- Monitor and control production costs, including raw materials, labor, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes
- Analyze production data and make data-driven decisions to optimize production.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, preferably in a production management role
- Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Certification in production management or quality assurance
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin to work with team in china.
