Esports Production & Logistics Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Esports Production & Logistics Manager to oversee our client's event operations and ensure seamless execution of esports events. This role involves managing both game-day and non-game-day activities, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of event operations in collaboration with vendors and agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate the efforts of stagehands, riggers, and other labor contractors to ensure efficient event setups.
- Collaborate with arena and team departments to fulfill staffing and production requirements for events.
- Assist in budget planning and monitoring for event-related expenses.
- Develop event floor plans that comply with safety regulations and secure necessary permits.
- Ensure adherence to fire, building, and safety codes throughout the event process.
- Prepare essential documentation, including event notes, budget estimates, and post-event summaries.
- Oversee the management of departmental budgets, including operating, maintenance, and capital project expenses related to production services.
- Supervise event-related personnel, including stagehands and riggers, to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster relationships with event support vendors and rental services that contribute to event success.
- Conduct production meetings with arena and tenant departments to facilitate accurate and timely information exchange.
- Manage broadcast, production, and technical setup for arena-related events.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in a media agency or television production environment, with a proven track record in event management, technical execution, and personnel oversight.
- Relevant experience in event facilities or similar settings is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Self-driven and focused on achieving results.
- Demonstrated capability in organizing and coordinating projects and teams.
- Knowledge of crowd management and control strategies.
- Proficient in standard office software applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
