Job Description :
Completes production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, resolving problems, and reporting shift production summaries.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing practices and requirements, implementing changes.
Accomplishes staff performance by setting job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising results, coaching and disciplining employees, enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains workflow by monitoring processes, setting variables, observing control points, and managing personnel and resources; reduces costs and corrects malfunctions.
Maintains working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
Maintains quality by enforcing organizational standards.
