Duties and Responsibilities:- As a Production Engineer specializing in Chemical Vapour Deposition, your key responsibilities include ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining high-quality standards. Here are your main duties:
Oversee the transition from architectural glass to solar glass panel production.
- Manage furnace, bath, and lehr cold repairs.
Coordinate hands-on training with VGI on maintaining coating properties.- Lead technician training sessions.
Assist project teams during cold repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during repair processes.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for coating processes.- Develop One Point Lessons (OPLs) and checklists.
Monitor and ensure coating quality meets standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests.
Collaborate with various departments for smooth production transitions.- Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Adhere to safety regulations and standards.
- Implement safety protocols during shutdowns and repairs.
Identify and implement process improvements.- Stay updated on industry advancements in Chemical Vapour Deposition technology.
