GeneJunction is a digital health startup based in Petaling Jaya, dedicated to integrating genetic insights with personalized health services to empower individuals in making informed decisions and achieving better health outcomes.

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the development and management of our products from conception through launch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company's goals. Define the product roadmap and prioritize features based on customer needs, market trends, and business impact.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market gaps, and emerging trends. Analyse competitive products and make data-driven decisions to ensure our product remains competitive.

Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to define product requirements and guide the product development process. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs. Use this feedback to inform product development and improve the customer experience.

Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch. Monitor product performance and make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters. Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, including senior management.

Revenue and Profitability: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies. Ensure that products meet revenue and profitability goals.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions about product features, pricing, and positioning. Continuously monitor and analyse key product metrics to drive improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in BIS or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in product management or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, software development processes, and agile methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data to make informed decisions and drive product success.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into successful product features.
  • Familiarity with specific management tools. E.g. Jira, Asana
