Job Responsibilities:- Involve from new product development stage, coordinate and manage engineering build/preproduction build.
To perform product testing / analysis and data collection.- To structure and manage BOM, tooling matrix and material list. Ensure accurate information is provided to every related department.
Conduct weekly meetings with process owners to update status and progress of work with proper minutes of meeting/tracker format.
- Study and propose packaging method for new products.
To perform Potential Failure Modes and Effects Analysis prior to molding, 2nd processes and assembly prior mass production.- To evaluate new tooling from mold maker before mass production at molders, access capability and capacity vs. quoted cycle time.
To ensure that all parts are approved, and golden sample signed off by customer and issue to Quality Department.
- Provide study; analyze reports and information for additional injection tooling and assembly jigs/fixtures.
To support rework process in the case of product non-uniformity.- Upon mass production, to ensure that customer's requirements are met and production output meeting orders with optimal cycle time and yield rate.
Troubleshooting and corrective action for both in-house and sub-cons production line.
- To coordinate ECN, study tool modification, follow up tool modification, part approval, provide cut off and implementation plan.
To exercise activities such as improvement plan and cost down studies.- To study and troubleshoot quality issues feedback from customer.
