Product/Application Support Team Lead

We will count on you to:
Act as primary point of escalation for the Support Analyst
Represent the Application Service Team and Technology Team in local and global management meetings
Support the Technology Team Manager in meeting the wider team and company short to long term objectives
Analyzing application incidents received via the Customer Helpdesk platform
Provide 3rd line support to internal and external customers; assist in troubleshooting problems which have surpassed the abilities of other support staff members
Diagnoses the underlying cause of incidents or performance issues
Identify, evaluate and resolve client issues utilizing available resources or independent research
Identify and implement workarounds until the underlying issues are resolved
Resolution of incidents and service requests within the agreed Operational Level Agreements
Writing articles in the knowledge base to increase awareness of issues and reduce the support call volumes
SQL analysis of the database using queries
Diagnose and report unresolved issues (defects) in a clear, concise manner to Software Engineering Team for resolution
Test reported defects that have been corrected by Software Engineering Team
Communicate and progress issues and resolutions with team members in order to inform, educate and improve current processes and service levels.
What you need to have:
Bachelors Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or a similar role.
Ability to effectively lead a team.
Strong understanding of application support concepts, principles, and best practices.
Proficiency in SQL or MongoDB for database analysis and troubleshooting.
Experience in diagnosing and resolving incidents and performance issues
What makes you stand out:
Experience with cloud-based application support services, such as Azure or AWS.
Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
