Responsibilities- Partner with leadership to understand the brand strategy for defining a product development roadmap with accompanying initiatives and sourcing strategy to meet business needs.
Work directly with manufacturers, suppliers, vendors and relevant authorities to ensure safe and accurate delivery of goods across geographical borders.- Carry out timely and thorough research and sourcing of new products to expand the company's product line.
Conduct and coordinate the internal and external testing of new products with complete and comprehensive reporting.
- Identify, evaluate, cultivate and maintain long-standing relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, vendors and logistics partners to advance mutual partnership objectives.
Monitor existing inventory levels and identify purchasing needs within a given budget to ensure adequate inventory levels at all times.- Coordinate receiving of stocks while ensuring quality control of each product delivery is maintained at a high standard.
Receive, compile and process product feedbacks across various stakeholders for the continual improvement of the product offerings
- Maintain a comprehensive catalogue database of products and respective categories to ensure up to date and accurate information for decision making and reference of the various teams within the organisation
Continually improve cost efficiency across the purchasing and product development process through process streamlining and ongoing negotiations
3 Years of sourcing or/and product development experience.- Min Language Proficiency : Mandarin (5/5), English (3/5), Malay (3/5).
Frequent exposure to outdoor and camping activities is preferred.
- Prior work experience in an ecommerce environment is an advantage.
Fluent in conducting negotiations in mandarin.
Salary Range: RM2,800 - RM3,500
