Section MissionExpanding Panasonic Centralized contract center policies, Panasonic factories in APAC & India in order to practice procurement activities at One Panasonic level for raw materials and maximize Cost Reduction by utilizing Centralized Contract scheme, thus contribute to Business Division.
- Raw material contract job for Panasonic factories in APAC & India
- Contracted price sharing to Panasonic factory in Asia + India.
- Develop Cost Reduction (share allocation) strategy and execute it
- Quarterly cost negotiation with resin/Paper suppliers (with related members)
- Make Value Engineering (VE) proposal and joint study with R&D for factories in APAC & India.
- Cost reduction amount and ratio.
- Value Engineering (VE) proposal and implementation.
- Centralized Contract expansion for suppliers and Panasonic factories
- Develop order policy for APAC & India together with Centralized Contract Center and other related organizations by collecting requirements/demand from R&D / factories and proposals / quotations from suppliers in Asia + India and reviewing global information from others.
- Analyze total delivery costs in detail.
- Negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD.
- Propose alternative supplier which meets QCD requirements or propose alternative material based on benchmark study.
- Review with R&D and factories for joint direction.
- Negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD
- Learn Panasonic Centralized Contract scheme and organization.
- Understand Panasonic R&D and factory requirements / demand.
- Communication / Customer satisfaction: Listen to factory key players voice and/or review data to find opportunities for improvement, set mutual agreeable targets and accomplish them.
- Achieve teams KPIs for CD/ VE annual target.
- Prepare various management reports.
Need to go business trip to SEA countries or India once in 3 months.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
MUST TO HAVE:
- Diploma/Degree with minimum 4 years of working experience

Japanese Language Proficiency (N2 and above)- Working experience/Basic understanding related to
Procurement or Trading (import/export)- Knowledge for Raw Material/Steel/Resin
- Intermediate level of Excel (Use of V-lookup)
PREFER TO HAVE(Advantage)
- Working experience in Iron/Steel industry
