Procurement Protege Trainee (Ref.No. R1005943)
at our location in Kuala-Lumpur
You will enjoy having these responsibilities:
Reporting to the Bids & Procurement Project Manager, the candidate will be ready to support Project Procurement activities.
- Assist to Coordinate the procurement processes with multiple stakeholders for the relevant bids and projects
- Assist the PPM to update the report related to the material planning and the procurement dashboard
- Assist the PPM to oversee the subcontractors/suppliers, and serve as the interface between procurement and bid/project on all acquisition matters
- Assist the PPM to coordinate ALL acquisition activities for all the bid/projects assigned
- Work closely with the Category team and Supply Chain Team to secure the necessary materials and ensure project milestones are maintained
- Coordinate and assist PPM with raising the necessary purchase request and ensuring all materials secured as per Procurement Project Plan
- Look into streamlining the various business processes within the Procurement activities and suggest and provide ideas for improvements
- Others Ad Hoc task assigned by PPM
You have:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Language Skills: Proficient in English communication; Chinese communication is advantageous but not necessary
- Technical Skills: Strong MS Office skills, including proficiency in SharePoint, SAP ByDesign, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to manage stakeholders and build strong relationships
- Analytical Skills:
- Quickly grasp complex technical concepts, including process flows and policies
- Collate information and produce comprehensive reports
- Analyze problems and develop practical solutions
- Organizational Skills: Plan and organize workload effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
