RESPONSIBILITIES:- Source, negotiate and call for quotations in order to prepare comparison with justification.
Seek vendors that offer a combination of quality material and services at an acceptable price level.- Monitor and evaluate vendors performance.
Handle daily administration of purchase order, customers delivery schedule and requirement of materials.
- Ensure all purchase goods meet the specified requirement, specification, and information including charges related to the purchased materials are clearly stated in the purchase order.
Ensure the purchasing processes are in compliance with company policy.- Any order duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Quantity Surveyor / Civil Engineer or equivalent.- At least 1 year (s) of working experience in related fields is required for this position.
Preferably specializing in Purchasing / Supply Chain Management / Pre & Post contract or equivalent.
- Well versed with cost control and contract administration matters.
Good working attitude, ability to organize, plan to meet deadlines, work under pressure and self-motivated.- Good analytical skills and have attention to details.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
_Ability to speak and understand Mandarin is as added advantage.
_- Well-organized and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
