Job Responsibilities:- Responsible for procurement and sourcing activities.
Handle PO issuance on a daily basis, especially on main ordering days.- Verify that DO/invoices match the stock received in the system.
Check receiving (fulfilment) reports and rectify accordingly if there is any discrepancy of stock e.g. shortage/excess/quality issues.
- Coordinate with QC (warehouse), Sales, and other respective teams on stock updates or issues related to customers orders.
Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, performance monitoring, and vendor relationship management according to procurement SOP and policies- Actively seek cost-saving initiatives.
Collaborate with inter-departments to execute procurement initiatives.
- Be updated with market information, i.e. price trend and supply availability to have effective pricing negotiation with suppliers.
Timely and accurate update of purchasing records, supplier, and product master lists in the Company's records and system.
Candidates with experience in F&B, Hotel, Agriculture, Perishable Food industry will be preferred- A minimum of 3 years experience in Procurement and/or supply chain is required
Experience in a startup organization would be an added advantage
- Strong track record of supplier sourcing and negotiation is required for this role
