Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders, and requests for quotes to suppliers.
Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities.
Recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative
Sourcing.
To ensure all timely delivery of services and material and zero supply shortage incident.
To ensure meeting or achieve cost reduction target given by department manager.
To ensure multiple sources for the material to reduce supply risk.
To manage and develop supplier for the improvement of cost, quality and delivery.
To take the lead to resolve supply and commercial issue.
To maintain and updates regular reporting on time.
To comply and adhere to department SOP and company policies and procedure.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business and Administration or equivalent, engineering, or others.
A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience will be added advantage.
Good command of the language in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Spoken and Written)

Required Soft Skills

Good negotiation skills.
Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking. Excellent team player, reliable and trustworthy.
Computer skill including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
Supplier audit experience is an added advantage.
ISO 9001 audit experience is an added advantage.
