Job Description

**Job Title:** Private Secretary to Deputy Chairman of Invest Sabah Bhd

**Location:** Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

**Type:** Full-Time

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Private Secretary to support a high-profile individual in their day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional proficiency in both English and Mandarin, as they will be responsible for drafting press statements, managing communications, and ensuring the smooth operation of our principal's schedule.

**Responsibilities:**

- **Press Statement Drafting:** Craft clear, concise, and engaging press statements. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential to accurately convey messages to diverse audiences.

- **Communication Management:** Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications. This includes managing emails, calls, and correspondence in a timely and professional manner.

- **Schedule Coordination:** Organize and maintain a dynamic calendar. Schedule appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring optimal time management.

- **Travel Arrangements:** Plan and execute all aspects of domestic and international travel. This includes flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries, tailored to the principal's needs and preferences.

- **Confidentiality:** Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality in all aspects of work. Handle sensitive information with integrity.

- **Administrative Support:** Provide comprehensive support, including document preparation, filing, and other administrative tasks as required.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Communications, Languages, or related fields.

- Proven experience as a Private Secretary, Executive Assistant, or similar role.

- Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, with exceptional writing skills.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with digital calendars and cloud systems.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Flexible and adaptable, with the availability to travel and adjust to varying schedules.

- Discrete, with a proven track record of handling private information with sensitivity and integrity.
