We are looking for a talented architect to shape the future of our customer solutions and cross-functional systems integration solutions. The job's location can be Cyberjaya, Malaysia, or Prague, Czech Republic.

H ow will you contribute to the success of DHL

• Innovate and Lead: Drive alignment between cutting-edge business needs and a blend of modern and legacy IT architectures in the areas of
  
  • Digital customer solutions
    • Integration to customer's IT systems - API, EDI
    • Externally facing applications
      
  • Internal cross-functional systems integration
    • Enterprise-wide portfolio of APIs
    • Event-driven architecture
      
• Architecture Steward: Author and review solution architecture documentation, ensuring adherence to internal and customer-facing standards.
  
• Collaborate and Influence: Partner with business stakeholders to define and refine requirements that influence architectural decisions.
  
• Be a Trusted Advisor: Communicate technical trade-offs to build confidence in decision-making for both immediate and future business goals. Support product owners in roadmap planning.
  
• Global Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies and time zones, both remotely and in-person.
  

Do you have what it takes

• Academic Background: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  
• Experience: 10+ years of IT experience with a focus on multi-disciplined architecture, systems integration, and digital transformation.
  
• Methodic Thinker: Familiarity with specific architecture management frameworks, integration patterns, and system design methodologies.
  
• Technical Mastery: Respected hands-on expert in several of these areas:
  
  • Programming
  • Data modeling
  • Structured data storage & querying
  • Messaging middleware
  • API gateways
  • Web application development (frontend and/or backend)
    
• Communication & Leadership: You can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
  • Flex your communication style to best connect to your audience in a variety of contexts
  • Have experience authoring and interpreting with main types of diagrams used in business analysis and IT solution design
  • Translate between levels of data model abstraction
    
• Adaptability: You enjoy finding out what you didn't know and are ready to adjust the plan when you find something new. You don't mind filling a gap between formal responsibilities if that's the right thing to do.
  
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the transport industry or a related field is a plus.
