As a Principal Architect, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our digitalization initiatives. You will serve as a Solution Architect, providing end-to-end expertise across a wide range of technologies, including Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Java, Python, Angular/ReactJS, Kafka, MQs, and Adobe Experience Manager. Leading a team of IT experts, you will ensure the efficient utilization and configuration of our Azure Cloud resources.
Your responsibilities will include designing and developing integrated applications that adhere to performance and security standards, and collaborating with architectural communicators across DHL IT Services and DHL Business divisions. You will lead project architecture, coordinate with external service providers, and apply standard methodologies for new and existing programs and applications. By documenting work using required standards and tools, you will oversee project completion and contribute to the professional development of your team.
Your technical guidance will ensure that business requirements are met, occasionally requiring you to get hands-on with coding to guide the development team. You will also work closely with business users to define requirements and lead discussions during various project phases. As a
Principal Architect, having
development experience with Java-based microservices is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of
Application and Security Architecture, particularly in Containerization and Azure Cloud-based deployments will also be an integral part of this role.
You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of
Front End Development and Database design. You are able to work independently prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.

I started my career at DHL IT Services in 2005, when I took a role as System Analyst in the Business Intelligence team. Gaining more hands-on experience with Requirements Engineering and Solution Design has always fascinated me, so I moved to the Network Operations team. From there, I advanced through the company ladder and transitioned into a management role, becoming the Head of Sub-domain in 2016.
