The role involves conducting market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making, preparing monthly revenue and cost reports to identify opportunities for improvement, collaborating with various departments to gather data, and ensuring data accuracy through validation and analysis. The focus is on turning raw data into actionable insights to drive business growth and optimize financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and delivers relevant market insights with a focus on competitors activities, market developments, emerging trends and industry outlook scenarios
- Proactively leverage on external data to develop an understanding of the competitive landscape for market scenario forecast and recommendations
- Develop and execute effective Pricing strategy by product and segment to maximize competitiveness and margin
- Produce competitive analysis that can uncovers market opportunity and help address critical business issues with a focus on price, sales, method of marketing and distribution
- Play a key role in supporting the Management in their analytical needs and helping them making smart, data driven decisions in a timely and accurate basis.
- Drive best in class analytic and conclusions around all commercial aspects of the business such as assortment, buying behaviour, competitive pricing etc
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field
- Sales support experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess experienced in data analysis and statistical methods.
- Strong Excel skill is a must
- Strong in analytical reviewing skills
- Have good fundamental statistic background
- A highly proactive individual with the ability to work under stress and minimal supervision
