Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- As a Performance Test Engineer, play a critical role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our software applications through performance testing.
- Work closely with development teams to design, execute, and analyze performance tests, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks to optimize application performance.
- Execution and analysis of performance tests to validate application scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
- Identification and resolution of performance bottlenecks to optimize application performance.
- Collaboration with development teams to address performance-related issues.
- Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives in performance testing practices
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on performance testing.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and frameworks such as Locust JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, etc.
- Understanding of scripting language such as Python, Shell, etc.
- Good understanding of performance monitoring and profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks such as New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc
- Familiar with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI, etc
- Familiar using Jira for project management and issue tracking.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
