Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

- The PPB or Centre Manager ensures the efficient administration of the centre on a day to day basis.

- The PPB or Centre Manager closely monitors the maintenance of 90% attendance in the centre and completion of student portfolios to determine the eligibility of candidates for the final examinations.

-The PPB or Centre Manager shall ensure the maintenance and updating of all Student Personal files regularly.

-The PPB or Centre Manager shall monitor and ensure monthly fees collection is done promptly and suitable action taken to collect all arrears.

-The PPB or Centre Manager shall carefully consider all requisitions for purchases, leaves and services before verifying or confirming or approving. Factors to consider shall be:

i. Prudent and efficient cost through multiple quotations,

ii. Absolute necessity for the operations of the college

iii. Smooth and uninterrupted operations of the college;

iv. the minimum cost, efficient operation of centre,

v. Proper and relevant documentation that is filled up.

- The PPB or Centre Manager shall ensure the prompt registration of students with the Department of Skills Development, Human Resource Development Fund department (PTPK) and any other relevant ministries or statutory bodies includes local authorities as per the approved deadlines.

-The PPB or Centre Manager shall oversee all examinations conducted to be in accordance with the guidelines provided by the relevant Examination body.

- The PPB or Centre Manager must conduct training for all administrative personnel to effectively carry out their assigned work in accordance with the required specifications and deadlines.

- The PPB or Centre Manager must with the cooperation of the academic supervisor ensure the annual operational and academic documents are prepared as per deadlines given by the Senior Management Committee and are approved by the Senior Management Committee before implementation or communication to staff. The essential annual operational and academic documents are:

i. Calendar Takwim for the year as per the approved capacity,

ii. Quality Assurance calendar for the year;

iii. Ghant Charts for all intakes as per approved capacity

iv. Updated WIM for all courses

v. Final Examination Question Papers as per approved capacity

vi. Consolidated activities calendar for all academic departments including the Student Council (MPP), PPPB committees, TAC committees, Management meetings, and any other calendars recommended by the senior management.

vii. Final project topics as per capacity

- The PPB or Centre Manager must ensure that the Teaching record book is regularly updated.

- The PPB or Centre Manager is responsible for scheduling meetings, checking product quality, and deadlines of his subordinates.

- The PPB or Centre Manager shall ensure all information, notices, memos, communication and instructions approved by the senior management committee is communicated effectively with understanding to all relevant staff promptly and a feedback obtained and submitted to the senior management committee immediately.

-The PPB or Centre Manager shall constantly conduct walk around or spot checking of the premises including classes for the purpose of quality assurance, effective operations and conducive working and studying environment.

-The PPB or Centre Manager is also responsible for evaluating the staff performance and identify staff training needs.

- The PPB or Centre manager has an utmost duty to bring all important or latest developments or issues to the attention of the senior management immediately without any delay for prompt action.

  • 00 - RM5,000.00 per month
